New Documentary Transfer Tax Affidavit and List of Exemptions (12/4/2009):
For every Deed recorded without a documentary transfer tax, an affidavit explaining why no tax was paid is required. The affidavit is to be filed at the time the Deed is recorded, and should be signed by the donor on the first page, and either the transferor or transferee on the second page. The affidavit does not take the place of the Preliminary Change of Ownership Report. More News

Recording fees will increase effective January 1st, 2010. (11/30/2009):
